Part of the Australia Series this piece is dominated by slender sawtooth Banksia leaves (from Western Australia) exploding out of the 3" round hoop. The centre is a dried Nigella pod and the Banksia leaves jut out in every direction. The sawtooth pattern and pale sun-baked green colour of the Banksia leaves are testament to the plant's hardiness and resilience. This piece is very 3D and would make a real statement on any wall.
